The Yank owners of the 'istree clubs have been in cohorts with the Premier league trying to stop this takeover , the Saudi's next battle will be with UEFA because like ourselves the ex-G14 clique of clubs will be opposing everything NUFC do over the next decade or more.
The Geordies might be joyful now but they had better learn to grow a thick skin, because there will be plenty of the 'istree club plastic fans at the ready on all the social media platform ready and raring to go ,the Geordies will now be about as welcome as a fart in a space suit.

Don’t know who Rory Smith is apart from he is on radio5live a lot. Sounded very annoyed about the Newcastle take over today and criticising them as State sponsored.
He has said this about City several times and recently on Monday night football…..

I think he's the 'Chief Soccer Correspondent' for the New York Times. Go figure (as the yanks would say). Regardless, he's a twat.

I wouldn't be surprised if the new owners look for a statement signing in January a la Robhino. Perhaps a certain City player who's been struggling for form lately and currently linked with Barcelona would fit the bill. Just putting it out there.
