The forgotten few

Just the 5 times prior to yours. I can understand not wanting to trawl though 50+ pages but the search function (top right) is really helpful for things like this. I mean there's a drop down menu to limit the results to just this thread too. How clever is that?
obviously a lot cleverer than me..but most things are these days

Jimmy McMullan - captain of the Wembley Wizards in 1928. Seven years at City.

Well, if you're looking back, I give you the great Patsy Hendren - scorer of 170 first-class centuries and 57,000 f-c runs.
Played for City in Edwardian era.

patsy hendren was the late brian "jonners" jonstones hero as a boy. played for surrey i think. how about max woosnam? a proper sportsman..sorry if hes been mentioned before jrockblues but i just couldnt be bothered with your search function top right thingy

Terry Dunfield - all I remember is his attempted overhead kick in front of the North Stand at Maine Rd.
remember he was the standout player for reserves that season and kept Barton out of starting XI , Dunfield scored one of best goals i've ever witnessed at a live game at OT in Manchester senior cup final in 2001 in a 4-1 win.

Fash. Derby away 6-0 defeat. Saw him play for us away at The Swamp for the reserves. Outstanding in I think a 3-1 win where I think he scored 2. One was a header similar to McCarthys in the Derby in 86

Tony Cunningham. Like Douglas Bader. Good in the air but no legs.

Good at nothing when he played for us. Even Kevin Horlock was better at aggressive walking than him. Well actually Cunningham's was more an amble than a walk.
