Looks like the huge downturn in physical condition and form that was expected in a couple of seasons has arrived early.
He looks both physically shot and bereft of ideas. An artillery shell dodged.

One of the major reasons we needed him was because he just scores goals. We have enough players who don't score, kane was supposed to remedy that, not crumble when they're is pressure.I still think if we’d signed him he would now be in double figures goals and be the player we expected

Remember that many on here were happy to swap Jesus and Laporte ( or even Bernardo) for Kane.
Our best transfer business last summer was to keep Bernardo, Jesus and Laporte ( who is better for our build up play than Stones, imo).

Ronaldo may be in double figures goals soon, but rags may continue to struggle. Kane can't press like Foden or Jesus, big games would be more open with him in there, for we won't be able to control them by defending from the front.
When people think about Kane they automatically think only about the goals he would score but forget to factor in the negative effects from his presence.
I'm not saying we would be worse off with Kane, but I'm not sure he would improve us as much as many think.

This England side will be so much better without Kane's slow plodding and hiding from the 18 yard box.
The only question is whether the younger quicker players take over before or after the world cup.

Why should Levy and Spurs do anything for the National team? People were going crazy on here when KDB turned out for Belgium on one leg, it was out of order to us , the club that pay his wages. Club sides look after No1 and rightly so.
Thankfully we did not and it appears yet again by luck or great judgement , we had dodged not a bullet but a cruise missile.

He can open negotiation and City be willing to make agreeable agreement between both side. The problem he is refused to negotiate not even answering our bid either. Even a refusal letter will be better than nothing.
Sanchez could be better for us, you see there's many variable in here that you didn't consider of why player like Sanchez didn't immediately click with his new team. Same as Kane, there's always potential he become dreadfull when he join us but there's another possibility he can mantain last season form. So you can never be sure in everything especially in Football.
