Classic guardian football weekly yesterday covering Tuesday nights games.
City coverage lasted about a minute.

Lars Silvertsen: City were brilliant, Foden was brilliant but no point discussing the financial disparity between the teams cos we've discussed it so often previously. Credit to City because they've used their resources well compared to PSG very well
Gledenning: Bruges total wage bill just £18 million. About the same as KDB.... blah blah

Same old same old.....
Kind of changed on the commentary regarding Brugge, first half. Very dangerous team , great form, unbeaten in 16 games, great young talent , intimidating atmosphere blah blah blah. After Walker banged in the third, only to be expected, huge gulf in finances, no champions league experience, big game this weekend , unlucky with the Laporte ‘red’challenge and could/should have had a pen as well. I’m Usually a volume/mute watcher but could enjoy their pain as we were so comfortable.

The mail at it again. Article on England falling down the rankings table and guess which players photographs are used...again no prizes...Grealish with his head in his hands in one and Walker consoling Kane in the other (there are more but not of England players). It’s almost like they’re trying to provoke a blue into violence against one of them, here’s hoping.

I know this sounds like I am looking for things to be vexed about but here goes.

Watching the rags last night I heard the commentary mention the "Stretford end roar" and the only other football stand that gets a mention is the Kop "Sucking goals in" I believe is the phrase.

I could be a mile off with this observation but you rarely get mentions of other grounds main stands do you?

K stand has been the rags main end since the eighties, who does their research.

Who will the media back in the Dublin derby on Sunday, imagine they are hoping for a high scoring draw so they can blow smoke up both teams arses.

The scousers have taken over as the main chosen ones, the BBC will have a glut of Salah goals on speed dial ready for the big occasion.

No mention of squad cost allowed at any time of the proceedings :)

BT coverage of our game on Tuesday night, when the show cuts to the adverts it shows pictures of City fans outside the Etihad. At the first advert break it had a zoomed in picture of a kid in a City shirt ( no face shown ) holding a 99 ice cream. We all know the old rag joke or is it me just being paranoid .

At least the Beeb had the good grace to remind everyone of the Sick Swan at Old Toilet - can you believe that was really TEN years ago??

I watched this earlier today. Micah really lets himself down. He states that the GPC always treated us with respect, that, as we all know is not true. Sorry Micah, that's a wrong turn on your part for me.

also - only mentioned when they’re winning. No mention of the silence; lack of support & boos when they were losing

Watched the last ten minutes of the first half of the rag v Atalanta game and was genuinely worried about Ole getting the boot when at the halftime whistle we’re booing and snorting the rags off. But hey oh he’s survived for a few more weeks.

He couldn’t be more wrong. Never any respect from him. IMO Baconface caused more trouble than anyone else ever involved in the Manchester derby. He deliberately rubbished us to wind us up and usually it worked. Fair play to Mancini, he wasn’t taking any rubbish from the bully.

‘Not in my lifetime’. Yeah, ok.
