I've had tons of colds etc and never lost my sense of taste. smell only when nose is blocked.

My sister in law is 12 months this month and is just starting to get smell back but only for the strongest smells.

I take Methotrexate, which kills off some of your taste buds every week. However, cells in taste buds are very short lived--maybe 5 days, so you should get your taste back quite quickly after the intruders have been sent packing.

My taste is fine now it’s just that certain things smell the same but at the same time they smell a lot different than before. It’s hard to explain but I get this smell up my nose that is like a petrol smell, it’s very weird. It’s been like this for 18 months, it’s not driving me mad, it would if it was my taste as well, but it is annoying.

Well thankfully the lad from work who is in intensive care with it because he wouldn't have his vaccines is going to make it, but in the meantime he was in work and now his whole shift have got it. Which has crippled the ones who are left in work picking up the slack, working cancelled days off, burning themselves out and not providing a service due to extreme pressures. These things have consequences for others and ramifications.

What's with these loons who think that they are some kind of legal experts, despite having no qualifications, still living at their mum's house at age 45 and working at Spar? There seems to be a thing where they present fake legal documents to people that they have put together themselves. It's bizzare.

The pattern with these people seems to be a misguided sense of self importance. Why bother working and studying in law when you can just watch a few Youtube vides and put together some papers yourself which you can gleefully present to people citing the Nuremberg trials.

Vaccine passports are in, it did not help much did it, 8 months down the line and what do we have, the self righteous blaming the unclean for catching COVID even though they have had both jabs. Well it`s back to face masks for you sonny, you might want to get a packet of Marigolds as well since they are a 1,000 times more effective in their part of `Stop and Prevent`

Is`nt that strange since i work with over 300 people and COVID has ripped though the company several times, the last time being from a member of staff who had the jab, he passed it onto an awful lot of people who have had the jab, including one that had not, fortunately there is me an essential worker, who worked right though doing the extra shifts going the extra mile, who did not skive off.
Best of luck to the lad in hospital, i am sure they will give him the jab and he will be cured.
