AFCON could play a part this season. They lose Salah, Mane & Keita. Chelsea lose Mendy & Ziech, we lose Mahrez.

It’s only for about three or four Prem games and that’s if they all go all the way to the final.

During that spell of a month while they’d potentially be gone there are two FA Cup weekends.

They will definitely miss Leicester, Chelsea, FAC3, depending on how far they reach they may also miss Brentford, FAC4 and Palace.

Final is on 6th February.

I still think unless anything derails lfc they will win the title this year. They've found that mojo again and they've added to their ranks with some better players, they're getting strength in depth. Hopefully we or Chelsea can maintain and keep up with lfc but its looking ominous right now, and they've been buoyed up by that win against shit united.

They have played both us and Chelsea at home and were very fortunate not to lose both games..

Chelsea were winning 1-0 and were very comfortable before James got sent off.

Even with the advantage of an extra player for the whole of the second half Liverpool couldn't break Chelsea down, the same Chelsea btw who we played off the park in their own back yard and to say the 1-0 scoreline flattered them would be the understatement of the season so far.

We all saw how we completely dominated Liverpool in our game with them, so much so their fabled support was silenced.

If Milner had been rightly sent off we'd have beaten them without question.

Sticking 5 past a very poor United and Watford is not the measure of Champions.

Liverpool still have a lot to do to take the Champions crown away from them and what's more, both they and Chelsea know it..!

They won't miss more than 3 league games, maybe even 2. The other games in that period are league cup and FA cup games. And they don't play any strong team in the league during that period.

What could hinder them is the average age of their main players: 29-31 years old. It will be difficult for them to maintain consistency given that Liverpool are very reliant on energy, speed and pressing. Liverpool without tons of energy and speed are a bit ordinary.

They've got their special juice supply back. No chance of fatigue.
