So i read, but the torah or the quran said nothing of the sorts. Torah states from one verse that its way older than 6000 years. And Quran states 4 billion or so. But im basing that on hearsay, need to research on that myself.,

Qur'an doesn't say 4 billion or anything about the age of Earth, but the following verses shed some light on it.

On the creation of the Universe
Qur'an 50:38 "We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days, and no weariness even touched Us."

On the creation of the Earth
Qur'an 41:9 "Tell them, (O Prophet): “Do you indeed disbelieve in Him and assign compeers to Him Who created the earth in two days? He is the Lord of all beings of the Universe."

Ratio = 6/2 = 3.

As per modern cosmology,
Age of the Universe - 13.8 billion years
Age of the Earth - 4.543 billion years

Ratio = 13.8/4.543 which is approximately 3

Jesus H Christ. The lengths of mental gymnastics that religious folk go to can be quite staggering.

Was that a royal ‘we’?
That entire sentence implies more than 1 entity. Though clearly it’s subject to change between Arabic and English. It’s almost a ‘get out of jail free’ card…

Yes, it's a royal We and a royal Us. There is no third person plural used anywhere.

A follow up to my post (when I couldn’t remember the simple word ‘contradictions’!) on the bible, there’s also plenty in the Quran :

and of course the bible

The website is a useful resource for when anyone quote ‘s a religious text, as it supplies detailed information about each bit. Not just about contradictions - which is always amusing when an infallible god is brought up.

What a load of gibberish nonsense.

You seem to have missed off an important part of the 2 days quote
41:12 Then He ordained them seven heavens in two Days’

7 heavens in 2 days vs 1 heaven (and earth) in 6…
Notice in 41:12 , the word is not 'created' , instead 'completed ' or 'decreed', meaning the process had started earlier.
Heaven and the earth is a phrase used for the universe in general.

Didn’t god supposedly create these frail selfish humans, and all their faults. Then had the audacity to prescribe they should not to be frail and selfish.

Sick bastard he/she/it is.
God created a perfect human being in a perfect world. The creation itself was perfect ( very good) and then the man sinned. He then began to die. Took a long while but the process began. He and his wife .
. After sin, plenty of faults, selfishness and eventual death. They could have lived forever only they chose to act against God's one rule in paradise.
The 2nd Adam ( Jesus, the Christ, Meschiach) destroyed the curse of death.

Top work. I think you should post this stuff in the joke thread though.

If the earth doesn't exist, then what is the definition of a day?
