Harry Kane

He is only 28 years old so these should be his prime years! I think we can best judge when we watch him play for England. It will give us a better understanding
Internationals aren't a great platform for judging players compared to the Premier League.
Sancho, Shaw, Maguire and even Raz can hold testament to this of late.

Kane as played a hell of alot of football in his career being Spurs and England's talisman and captain.
Injuries seemed to have slowed him also.
Plus at 28 i think he's all wrong for us, he will become even slower in the future and will want to play deeper as he thinks he's some kind of midfielder lately, and we've got enough good ones of those.

I personally think City are too good a team for him

I don't understand all the hate towards Kane. He is not happy at Spurs cause he really wanted to join City. He felt betrayed by Levy and is trying to play but his heart is elsewhere!

When you force a player to stay in a club then this is what you get. Lack of ambition resulting in a loss of form add to that a weak coach and bad set of players!

What if we end up getting Kane in January and he could end up being one of our best signing of a striker who goes on to help us win the league and maybe, just maybe the CL!

We really need a striker in January and if Kane is available we should get him
If your boss promised you that he would allow you to move to a bigger company if you signed a new contract, so you accept his word and sign the contract, then he reneges and screws you over when your dream job offer comes in, would you continue to work your bollocks off for that boss? Those who are saying Kane should just get on with it clearly don’t understand how a lack of motivation caused by a major disappointment can affect performance.

Playing against San Marino and Albania or any other pub teams shows us nothing about Kane. The standard of international football has become a joke. City (or Liverpool and Chelsea) would easily win the World Cup these days.

Sterling also looks good for england...plus wasn't rooney like 26 when his quality started dramatically dropping off? He shares a lot in common with kane in so much as they potentially both burned out by the time they were in their late 20's.

It's likely he's seen his best days imo.

If that is the case, it is a stinking shit attitude that shouldn't be allowed anywhere near our club. He should be ashamed of it, not understood and excused for it.

It must be so hard earning millions playing a game you love to play.

Maybe he should give Spuds 50% of his wages back if he isn't putting the effort in, no?

Why would you do that? He should take them for every penny. They fucked him over.

I'm reliably informed by the Liverpool Echo that the dippers have already won the World Cup two years ago!

I'm saying that I understand how missing out on a dream move and getting screwed over by your employer will affect your performance, this is why it's almost never a good idea to hang on to players who want to leave. I don't think his poor form is deliberate, he wouldn't be human if a major disappointment like this didn't have an effect. As for Spurs, fuck them, they're reaping what they sowed.

He is meant to be a Spurs fan, that is his dream move, fuck him I don't and never did want him at our club, I am so glad Levy is a greedy **** and saved us 100-150m on a soon to be faded star.

What difference does it make if he earns £10 or £10m. Completely ridiculous argument.
You would almost understand if you read the post I quoted.

Fucked him over lol he is earning millions of fucking pounds ffs get a grip of yourselves.

You post on here expecting people to have some kind of sympathy for a footballer being 'fucked over' while he earns millions to play football for the team he supports lol

Completely ridiculous statement.

£10 or 10m it doesn't matter, Jesus Christ.

Also, you still haven't understood the original post in the first place either lol

Is there not a photo with him at the Arsenal trophy parade with a shirt and red spray painted hair lol.

I agree with what hgblue said. What have I missed?

You seem to believe that Kane is a robot, incapable of any sort of emotion.

Never mind that spuds are pony, the rags turned them over ffs.

If they were flying and Kane was the only one playing shit, I would half understand this argument that hes "past it", they are shit so what do people expect Kane to do.

Knock yourself out fellow, I couldn't really give a fuck about Harry Kane, he's a Spurs player you know.

Mountain out of a mole hill springs to mind.

Good night.

We all know Kane will end up with more goals than any of our individual players and it's painfully obvious we are going to come across a game where Kane with one leg would have made a difference.

It's odd how some on here seem to think they know Pep better than himself.

Genuine question (and not related to the exchange of opinion above), do you really still want the club to sign Harry Kane?

Last summer, I can get. But now as things are, do you really want to see him playing for us, even at a conservstive lets call it 120m fee assuming Levy totally caves?
