For me, it’s because it’s Pfizer this time and was AZ before.

I’ve never had an MRNA vaccine before.

I’ll probably be fine, but...

We’ll find out on the 27th.
I had two AZ and Pfizer as the booster and it was not an issue at all. It bruised my arm when the others did not but that was likely due to the rapidity of the production line jabbing and it was only mildly sore for under 24 hours. No other symptoms at all.

I guess it is a matter of chance as my brother also had two AZ and the Pfizer booster and was impacted a bit more as in very tired. May be down to hormone differences. Or just chance. But he was fine after a day or so anyway. And nothing like having Covid which he did last year.

Yeah, it’s a probability game. I’ll be fine 99.999999% of the time.

Glad you‘re ok.

I’m probably nervous for no reason, but can’t help it. No doubt I will be fine come the 28th.

If you’ve had 2 vaccines what is it that strikes you as being particularly risky about the booster?
So many people are having pretty dramatic reactions to the booster, some at work, some among friends, and some on here too. The first 2 jabs for me, resluted in a feeling of 'fuzziness' and a light headache for a few days, but the booster seems to be wiping a lot of people out, this is a little concerning.

On the flip side I know about 10 people who have had boosters with zero reactions from any of them past sore arm.

Took part in novavax trail no issues, had Pfizer start of October and felt rough for a few days . Better to feel a bit rough than get covid

Situation in Israel seems to have changed markedly on the back of the third shot.

Yep doing well for a country with such a large number of unvaccinated people.
Denmark has reintroduced its digital pass and is again considering COVID-19 to be "a socially critical disease" as the Scandinavian country experiences a surge in case

++

Austria is just "days" away from placing millions of people who are not fully-vaccinated against coronavirus into lockdown, as daily infections are at a record high, the country's chancellor has said.

The Netherlands will impose a partial lockdown this weekend in a bid to stop a surge in COVID-19 cases, Dutch broadcaster NOS reported this morning.

Bars, restaurants and non-essential shops will be ordered to close by 7pm for at least three weeks starting Saturday - marking the first lockdown in western Europe since the summer.

Home-working will be encouraged as much as possible, and no audiences will be allowed at sporting events.
Yep. Starting to look bad for European countries as the weather deteriorates.
We shall soon find out of the let-it-rip during good wheather is the right strategy or not

That Austrian plan sounds difficult to implement. Maybe they could issue the unvaccinated with brightly coloured badges in order to identify themselves.
It’s possible I’m getting my Austrian chancellors mixed up though.

How did you manage that? My wife had the Novavax trial and our local NHS won't give her a booster. Spoken to Novavax and they're appently 'in the middle' of sorting something out with Manchester Royal....fucking shit show.

My old man is 77 and he had his Pfizer booster and the flu shot in the same day, maniac. Said he Felt a bit tired for a day but was fine after.

Just had 3rd jab. 400 done so far today today in a little shop next to a pharmacy in the West Midlands. Astonishing really.
