It really seems Pep's tactics evolved during this 2-3 years and it looks like Raz isn't fit for this kind of play we're trying to play this (and last) season. Every player in our squad had its ups and downs during last few seasons, but it looks like Sterling talents are not crucial to us as it was three years ago. We just don't have any edge against strong teams playing him as a winger or as a striker.

Not wanting to fight for his form and place also shows his character
Sometimes you fight to hard and feck up the simple things. He's always put a defensive shift in and He's always in the right place, however his dribbling, passing and sometimes his control has been up to the level we've seen in the past. I think it's more to do with confidence than attitude. I've very rarely seen attitude with Raheem, he comes across as humble and a bit uncomfortable with the expectations.

Possible our tactic have changed due to teams sitting back and defending? But you're right, we seem to be quicker in the pass now.

I don't really catch your drift.

Are you saying that your post wasn't a load of bollocks simply because you were playing devil's advocate?
I was responding to the poster that suggested his view was factual and proffered an alternative view.

None of us know what's going on in his head, or what his demeanor is around the club, so neither view can be taken as factual.

its not a confidence problem. it is a lack of talent problem. he never had the ability to control and pass like our other players nor does he has the talent to sterike a ball

I've wanted Sterling replaced for since tge middle of last season I guess(definitely in the summer) so I am delighted we got Grealish and have Palmer coming true.

I just hope that he goes in a positive manner.
1. We show our appreciation for all his efforts over the years he was here.
2. Any deal seems fair so that we put it towards a striker.
3. He keeps mum so that when he returns to play against us it's all positive.

The barca links are pretty constant. Barca do have a history of chatting shit about signing our players and then not doing so but I dunno, city wont want sterling to run down his deal and then go back to liverpool on a free, so getting him to Barca makes more sense. Even if you just know our barca boys will facilitate some kind of ridiculous deal for their old mate Laporta.

barca have no money tho any deal would probably be us loaning him to them for free and covering the bulk if not all of his wages

Got two windows and 13 months before he can sign an agreement to walk on a free. Don't city are at the point where the will bend over and take anything on the table just yet.

Barca struggling to find the coin to buy Sterling. Barca trying to get Messi back. Barca trying to get Salad.

This is getting embarrassing.
reports in germany they are offering 40 mil for adeyemi but not dont have 50 mil for sterling
