Everton (H) - Post-Match Thread

Good win, helped by the fact Everton were dismal, better teams than them will create more from the chances we gifted in the 2nd half.
Laporte did little to dislodge Stones and Dias as starting backs, has the turning circle of the Titanic...a rather alarming showing from him against an ineffectual attack
Good from Raz in the 1st half, scores and then vanished for most of the 2nd half, reappeared to miss his customary sitter later on
Another superb showing from Rodri and what a goal, can't believe he doesn't shoot more, the lad can hit them
Palmer had some good moments
Silva made things happen and his goal was well deserved
Foden has been a bit meh for parts of this season....possibly not fully fit plus I'm not sure being stuck out on the left wing does him any favours....can't rest him though with KDB and Grealish out
Thought Stones and Walker were both very good at the back
Cancelo had a fantastic assist and was buzzing around causing trouble all over the place

We totally dominate games but because we face blanket defences it's always a worry until we score.

What's the point of Benitez? An overrated manager, just another Allardyce and Dyche with a name that makes him sound more appealing, he isn't.

Benitez soon went back into his technical area when I shouted at him. Probably wasn’t me, probably the 4th official making his way over. Although I had shouted: “Where’s the 4th official, you’re taking liberties!” :-) :-)

If the matches ever get boring I can keep ‘em amused!!

Great game.

Rodri is a boss in the making, Palmer was really good, we also saw the best and worst of Sterling today.

Shite ref and benitez tactics are DULLLLLL.

Agree with all of that (except the Foden part).

Ha ha well done!

Beautiful pass from Cancelo, and what a wonderful strike by Rodders, I love those long range pile driver shots. Reminded me of Yaya!

Great result, another 3 points. I wonder what we need to do to get a penalty though.

This is not a Grealish bashing post but we appeared more fluent with Foden on the left , Jack does slow the game down in comparison , i think we need to use Grealish more centrally his clever use of the ball and ability to win free kicks will be more dangerous to the opposition in the middle of the park , but who do you leave out ?

If we had lost there would have been 100 pages by now
It's difficult to add anything worthwhile to the thread. Everyone played well. Rodri outstanding. Everton shite. That's about it really and it's all been said many times already.
