They did similar with Van Gaal. He was far better known and featured well in the World Cup just before taking over. But they were all going on about him as if they knew him for years and as if they had followed his national team and his various clubs every game on TV for years.
Watching all the KFAs spouting his praise to the high heavens especially about his 'philosophy' was good fun. Especially the likening of his results with the obsequious crowds treating him like the Emperor but a little kid (many blues actually ) realising the Emperor was 'in the altogether'.
I still have a laugh when l think of a free header by that horse faced bloke past an out of position goalie with noone near either of them was described 'as the best header Evah' just because LVG was going to the rags.

Not sure the shitouses in red will be able to put in a performance but " stranger " results have happened for them depending on the presiding PiGMOL lackie on the pitch or on VAR.
 
Thinking about it there's no need for a #SO???? as unless which I really doubt he's shit hot he'll be pushed upstairs in a few months, IF he is any good we'll not be wanting a Save Our thread anyway.

Realistically the best we can hope for is that he's a bull in a China shop and wreaks whatever they think they already have.
