Keir Starmer

I find Starmer deeply unimpressive. But would he be better than Johnson? Yes. Would he be better than any Tory likely to replace Johnson? Yes.

The present incarnation of the Tory Party represents everything that is bad in Britain. It is dangerous, literally dangerous, to our future.

Johnson must go, the lot of them must go. Starmer is piss poor, but he's the only realistic alternative.

Alas, poor country! You have come to this!

I would literally have any post war PM (except May, but including Thatcher, who I despised) before this dangerous clown Johnson.

There was even a hint of personality from Keir with his digs about speech prep and Tories showing up this week.

If the ultimate goal is to effectively get the Tories out of power the only Labour MP that has come up with anything is Clive Lewis. He proposed a cross party progressive alliance to unseat Tories get a majority and get rid of the 2 party system.

Above all I'm far from convinced that trying to recreate the glory years of the late 90s early 00s is a winning strategy ... the world has moved on. All a bit raggish for me. I wonder if Keith has the balls to park in Mandelsons car park space?

Cooper is a good appointment, one of the few who in the toxic Corbyn era had any integrity when speaking in the Commons. Lammy less so, the others I'd barely know who they are.
