I'm in two minds about the barcodes going down.
The weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth in the media is always amusing when they struggle especially as they haven't won a major trophy since five to eight, but would it be the same this year if survival meant they might upset the rags, dippers and Arsenal?

Boy, the commentary was shocking tonight. ‘Cathedral on the hill’, ‘the Geordie Nation’ ‘Gallowgate this, Gallowgate that’. Jesus wept!
10,004 attended Newcastle v Oxford for the game before Kevin Keegan took over as boss for the first time. Yeah, some "Geordie Nation". Always did prefer Sunderland by far.

We got 7,000 more the weekend after as well

Pathetic yet so much bullshit is peddled and so many mugs fall for it. Sure, they will average 52,000 next season in the 2nd Division but that will be because the Bruce-bashers will believe they are onto something good as they play flat track bullies against Rotherham and Middlesboring.
