Actually,there is only one PL club whose home ground is in Manchester!I suppose the other thing is, in Newcastle, there is just one club, in Manchester.... well no need for me to type further! It might be easyier to attract a megastar or two if they are to be the stand-out star in the town rather than rubbing shoulders with DeBryner/Mahrez/Sterling etc.
Just like Grimsby Town, who play in Cleethorpes, our near neighbours play in the borough of Trafford (hence the name of the ground - a slight clue) and call themselves "Manchester". They are in the greater Manchester area, in the same way that Chelsea and West Ham are in Greater London, although only one of them can be described as "Cockneys". (Even though ALL clubs south of the M25 are known as Cockneys by us Northerners ;-))
