Rory, Liam... Easily confused I am.

You knew what I meant really though ;-)

Liam won't break through this season - too much at stake. I can see Pep going the full season with the 'false nine' - That's why I suspect we'll fall short of trophies this season. We need someone experienced up front.

Is Rory available?
Think he’s a coach at Stoke.

and yes, I did know what you meant really. ;-)

Would like to see him in the side, couple of decent draws in the FA Cup rounds, if hes back by then hopefully
I agree, but can you honestly see Pep using him in an important CL match or if we're locked in a battle for the title come March/April?

I can't see it happening. The lad is nowhere near ready. I think he may well go out on loan abroad in January to learn his trade.

The problem with a loan move is that he won’t gain any experience in playing like he’d need to here.

I suspect his only route to our first team is to impress in training to gain Pep’s trust.

Depends how he does tbh, he was clearly earmarked to be given a shot with the first team before the injury so they think he's at least squad level, whether than has hampered his chances. He could comeback flying, all up in the air till we see him.

I think he'll be kept around till the summer now, they can monitor his injury and he's a different type of #9 to everyone else we have.

Sounding like good news on McAtee.

We've offered £8k a week, he's after £16k, City are closer.
Gave Foden 12k on his step up.. gotta think he'll get his value soon enough ,with the amount hes in the first team right now.

La Repubblica state that Pep Guardiola fell in love with Vlahovic back in the summer because of City’s inability to sign Harry Kane. And they are looking at the striker once again and City will be willing to meet Fiorentina’s asking price for the striker but it depends on the club’s wishes as to whether they really want the player over other options.

If we are after a Chelsea player then I hope its Reece James. He'd be a great successor to Walker.
I like James but chelsea luv him so he's not leaving, anyway Cancelo's going to be our next RB. We need to be on the lookout for a left back.

anyone remembering Alfredo Pedulla reporting daily updates of Koulibaly to City?

have the same feeling on this Vlahovic news which seems to pop up every 2 weeks.

If true he has been offered 70% pay rise nearly £150.000 a week is decent money he aint getting more than that unless City can offer say £10m signing on fee?????

£32m 5 year contract at Chelsea hes mad to turn it down

I would want to see Luke Mbete & THB given the chance if Laporte wants out in the Summer

People think Ake is wank but tell me club right now who can start a player like Ake as 4th choice, no team has that choice imo

Just dont see it hes been at Chelsea to long but money does stupid things

I hope Cancelo stays on the left. He is much better there imo.
I'm not a big fan of putting predominantly right or left footers on the opposite wings.
They are not as effective when everyone knows they have to cut inside or back onto their natural foot. Mahrez in the 2nd half yesterday did this all the time and it slows down the play. Sterling too is much more effective on the right side.
I like a fullback or wide player who will take their man on and then cross it naturally.

Bloody hell mate Cancelo's in the form of his life.
