Even this thread is a bit hard on him ever since Stones emerged as the first option and we are good people here. :) I can then imagine how other parts of social media look like...

To be fair he is a shadow of a once class player, today with the ball at his feet he looks quality but put him against better players he becomes a liability defensively.

I am a FOC but I find social media is an outlet for bitterness and ignorance .

Appears to have put the Palace debacle behind him , would still prefer Stones alongside Dias but Laporte is the man in possession of the shirt and has done little wrong in the last few games , we are blessed with three outstanding centre backs , compare Slabhead , Lindeloff and Varane to our three centre backs and there is part of the explanation for the chasm of eleven points already this season
We have the best defence in the league and quality in reserve to cover any injuries , for all our attacking ability i think our solid defence will be the difference in the title race.
