A bunch? No, certainly not. You'd just be throwing them under the bus if we lost. But one or two is hardly a bunch. He brought Foden along very well, didn't give him too much exposure too early. Well aware of it. But if you're not getting game time in a match like this, where are you getting it? I imagine he'll bring them on at some point, but if it's only for ten minutes or less… Well, we'll see.
He did eventually decide it was better to play Foden on the wings, which probably won't work for McAtee or Lavia. I assume Palmer's absence was just because Mahrez needed minutes to keep him happy and we want Grealish to get more time in the false 9.

Seems unnecessarily strong that team, for me. Gundo starting is an odd one, and it's extremely frustrating that neither Palmer or McAtee or starting.

Still, I look at how Pep developed Foden and remind myself patience can indeed be a virtue.

Shame the youngsters aren’t starting considering the game doesn’t mean anything.
Palmer atleast should have started

There were plenty of times we sat back and wondered why Foden wasn't starting a game a couple of years ago and that's in the past. I trust Pep knows what he's doing with it. It's frustrating at times - everybody wants to see youngsters playing - but part of their pathway it seems.

Never underestimate the confidence that comes with maintaining a winning run. Last thing you want to do is throw a bunch of youngsters out and potentially disrupt a streak you're on. (Not saying we'll 100% win but this team gives us a better chance than the other)

They'll get minutes today, nothing to panic over there, just not from the start.

a bunch? We could have just started one or two.

Thought Palmer might get a start, but other than that not surprised by the team. Think Walker could've done with a rest though, but I guess Pep feels that Egan-Riley is too inexperienced to be starting a CL game.

Sofascore advises me that Mendy is 'doubtful' for tonight.
They must have an ITK.

Both City and PSG are playing their respective big boys despite nothing at stake.
