I don’t think you can blame a pc stood on the door or armed cops at the gates-it’s not their job to interrogate the reason officials go in other than the fact they are official. But I understand there are registers etc. This is about ‘corruption’ at the very top of the Met where leaders are more politician than officer.

Don’t be fooled into thinking all Tory voters are idiots, many are but a lot know precisely what they are doing.

Maybe, just maybe he understands that the potential Tory replacements are even worse and could be more difficult to beat at an election.

Ousting Johnson would be a victory in a minor skirmish. Starmer needs to keep his focus on winning the war. He cannot stop the damage the Tories are doing this term but perhaps he can stop another term.

To be fair, ITV had sat on the video for weeks and didn’t consider it newsworthy. It’s only the mirror breaking it that then made ITV act.

Don’t underestimate the contacts ITV have too, nor that you can’t find good reporting on the BBC or Sky either (Ross Atkins on the former for example)

Starmer doesn't have the power to oust Johnson outside an election only his own party can do that and it's only a matter of time before the knife is plunged.
So what's he got to lose again? Back to the drawing board.

Very similar metro ones were one of the first sealed joints so once worn were throw away were as with the mini you could shim and grease but power difference at that time was immense acceleration was really good in a straight line.

They need to be out of power for as long as possible.

Its amazing the shit mechanicals and poor rust protected cars we were expected to put up with even into the 90's - I suppose we knew no better?
