Hamilton has setup an extreme E racing team. If Mercedes thought fuck it were putting everything into that new sport thus improving their brand at the expense of F1 it could be a kick on the bollocks of F1.

Its an interesting angle this, F1 as it stands is a dying sport anyway for sustainability reasons, something like this could be a catalyst for a team like Mercedes to pivot into electric vehicles. even they call it a mistake they can not do the right thing here and give lewis the win
