If they had to close their training camp at Carrington, why couldn't they just train at the swamp instead. I know it has reduced facilities (training wise) but at least they could have trained for a day. Poor excuse for a shite club.
Not for the level of innovative, ground breaking training they are now subject too. Besides they probably don’t have a spare set of bibs

It is blatantly obvious that they have cynically used Covid as an excuse to give Ragnick more time with a shit squad because he clearly knows they are simply not good enough to take on Brentford at this time.

As for using the closing of the training ground as an excuse.... clearly opens the door for them to claim to be okay to play Brighton on Saturday.

Cheating of the very highest order and the PL should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen!

The rags allowed to make the rules up again. How many players affected? Which crucial playing staff and how many? They need to be following the same rules as every other club and be seen to do so, this has gone on too long. Hope it all backfires.

We sound like Everton supporters last year.

Their game is postponed because it's the right, safe thing to do. And it will cause them more problems with fixtures down the line as it would if they just played the game this weekend.

Ask yourselves what you thought of people moa ing about our postponement last year.

I don't think they're making up the covid situation, they'd have to be scumbags to do that. So those suggestions are a bit ridiculous.

I understand the calls for clarity regarding the Premier League and what constitutes a postponement.

No argument at all In what you say the problem Is the transparency all we know as a fact is that 2 people as Covid and this morning they reported more plus they closed down the training ground! Why won’t they disclose the numbers? Every other club do! Brentford said they had 5 people with Covid but still willing to play! By not saying how many have it is why we all suspicious.

Plus they are not getting slandered in the media as we did, surprise suprise.

Yes I know I'm Cilla Black and have already claimed my £5

ask yourself if Pep would take a postponement in the upcoming busy fixture period if he could play the game later in the season when it is less congested. I say he would.

Still not bothered there is every chance that a rearranged game ends up at an even less beneficial time.
it's likely to be more beneficial because there's every chance Brentford will tail off as many promoted teams do and conditions might be better. A convenient postponement for the rags in my view

So media says that they asked for the game to be called off due to uncertainty on the Covid situation, surely this leaves it wide open for any club to do the same and expect the same result ? So if a star player, num 1 gk, a couple starting defenders is not fit to start any club can spout the uncertainty clause ? This totally stinks from them and until the FA or whoever sets a precedent on what clarifys as cause for postponement this is wide open to cheating.

I think it’s a bit rich that city fans can moan after our game was called off last year. We are in unprecedented times and more and more games are going to get pulled. We may even have to cancel one of our games in the future with the way things are.

I'm guessing he's talking about Allardyce
Not Allardyce. Several years before.
Also, it was thought there was a director who blocked any attempt to buy a black player by Moyes.
Everton had no black players in the 80s. The manager who said this openly was probably around then.

According to get Times (radio) the reason presented to the PL was that their training ground had to be closed and it affected their preparation.
What complete and utter crap.
They chose to close their training ground!
I think regulations require closing of facilities once a certain number of positives recorded. Have the rags reached the required number? I doubt it.

No one is saying the game shouldn't be called off as safety is more important than football but we needs answers and clarity from the fa about what's constutes a game being called off

Utd 2 confirmed cases. Game is canceled.

Brighton 4 confirmed cases. Game goes ahead
