but with rag neck weaving his magic they'll be world beaters by thenHow does that benefit them? They’ll have a fixture pile up later on as a result of today.

IMO... and only my opinion I genuinely believe they were fearful of playing Brentford, Ragnick has not had enough time to have a material impact whereas I think they definitely feel more comfortable playing at home v BHAFC - they really could not handle losing another game at this moment in time. How does that benefit them? Yeah, I read it after I’d posted the above. It was Gordon Lee see #15,712.
Will they not have to isolate for 10 days?IMO... and only my opinion I genuinely believe they were fearful of playing Brentford, Ragnick has not had enough time to have a material impact whereas I think they definitely feel more comfortable playing at home v BHAFC - they really could not handle losing another game at this moment in time.
if they find their shooting boots brighton will embarrass themIMO... and only my opinion I genuinely believe they were fearful of playing Brentford, Ragnick has not had enough time to have a material impact whereas I think they definitely feel more comfortable playing at home v BHAFC - they really could not handle losing another game at this moment in time.
Spurs unilaterally called that game off without consultation.Spurs game against Rennes was called off because they couldn't name THIRTEEN senior players. That criteria should be applied to the rags. Given squads can be up o 25 (I think) then they would need 13 players to have tested positive.
I suppose it all depends on WHY the game was postponed. If it was postponed due to there being too many players suffering with covid or having to self isolate (those who haven't been vaccinated would still need to isolate after being a contact) then those players will still be isolating for at least another week or so meaning Brighton won't go ahead but Newcastle shold be OK. Like with Spurs their outbreak was announced just after the Norwich game, those players should be back in time for them to play Leicester on Thursday. One Night Only said:
I fail to see how it won't be called off, isolation and everything is 10 days isn't it? So all those missing won't be back for it?
Of course, the Brighton game is going ahead. It will turn out that those affected were the tea lady, the kitman, Phil the Face and Carlton.I think using closing the training ground is their way out.
Yes they should (and I use that word lightly) have to isolate but if it is only one player that wouldn't materially affect them would it? However if they declare they have x number of player affected then they would be in a less strong position. Lets hope Brighton can persuade a cancellation on Saturday and then lets hear them bleat about games backing up.
My money is on the game going ahead on Saturday, regardless of Brightons' situation.... then the stink really will begin to be noticed,
think there will be some games off for sure.i think players will go back to covid bubbles and behind closed doors againI have a left field view of this situation. That there is indeed a significant outbreak of covid at United, and they have closed the training ground because of it.
Far fetched lunacy I know.
I also think there will be quite a few more games cancelled over xmas, and possibly a suspension of the league, ridiculous thinking for sure -)
I do think its important, if we know which players have to isolate for ten days then there is no chance of them being brought back sooner if they test negative before the ten days is up.Is it that important for us to know? I don't know any of the Spurs or Villa or Brighton or rag players that are positive.
Couldn't care less. Wouldn't even have a clue if any of ours have.
.... ask yourself why?
Why have other teams declared figures and not them? Why have they not said that they have declared because of covid as opposed to them having to close their training ground? It's all to enable them to play on Saturday. Corruption at the highest level.
The FA will know who has tested positive, and apart from conspiracy theories there is no evidence that clubs are being treated differently by the authorities.I do think its important, if we know which players have to isolate for ten days then there is no chance of them being brought back sooner if they test negative before the ten days is up.
The above situation could arise if a club were unscrupulous enough, it is important for the whole scenario that everyone is totally up front and transparent.
As my original post suggested, every single club/player should have the same rights/treatment.
Hmmm so you're content for the FA to make different decisions for different teams without any accountability? There is absolutely no reason why this information should not be public - agree the identities are and quite rightly should be protected.Sounds like people talking about us after the Everton game last year.
Clubs declare figures to the FA, and they're really the only ones that need to know. If clubs choose to release figures to the papers, that's up to them.

The paying public have the right to know if we're being made fools of.
Do you not think the powers that be are trusted enough to sort these things out between themselves and the club/clubs concerned?Hmmm so you're content for the FA to make different decisions for different teams without any accountability? Until there is transparency this will always be a moot point. The FA will know who has tested positive, and apart from conspiracy theories there is no evidence that clubs are being treated differently by the authorities.
