Newcastle United (A) - Post-Match Thread

I genuinely don't think we'll miss him.

Not because he's not brilliant, but we've barely played Jesus on the wing or Foden.

Torres will probably be back as well, I'm very doubtful Barca are going to cough up the necessary amount before deadline day, so he'll be there for most of it.
He's our biggest goal threat right now and I don't think it's particularly close either. Though you bring up an interesting point of playing Foden on the right. I think he could potentially do a brilliant job there.

Anyone know what games Mahrez will be missing?

Arsenal, Swindon, Chelsea and maybe Southampton.

Top day out....

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
And the blues are so delightful
City is the place to go,
Cancelo, Cancelo, Cancelo
“We’re gonna have, a party tonight,
“You’re gonna find your team,
“Underneath Man City cos you know your team is shite

“Scousers falling, all around us,
“City playing, having fun,
“It’s the season, for Pep to do his mad thing
“Merry Christmas, everyone”

Not our best but came away with an easy win. Happy days.

Especially with everyone else dropping points.

If we win the next 3 on the bounce we may build a decent gap by the middle of Jan.
Neither Liverpool nor Chelsea at full strength can outplay us so they park the bus. They're just hoping to get lucky. We always go through the gears from January onwards, but we're stepping it up earlier this season.

I love a Kev/Cancelo/Rodri howitzer as much as the next person.

However, there is something so pure about the perfect pass releasing an overlapping player, who slides it across for a simple tap in.

It's eloquent, it's exquisite - it's from the training ground.

It was used a lot when we had Sane and David Silva.

Love seeing it.

Pure 2017/18/19 vibes that fourth goal
