Do you have any proof of this?

Vast majority of criminals don’t even get caught for these type of offences at the moment, some aren’t even investigated as we’ve seen with our police force going into special measures recently for poor performance.

Let’s just hope Joao and his family can move on from this horrible incident and put it behind them.

You only have to look at the criminal record of those two clowns from Bolton who won £4m on a scratch card purchased with a stolen bank card. One of them had over 70 convictions. Does there not come a point when it’s just better to accept that some people are beyond help.

Dunno mate, but either way, I don’t think that’s the sort of info that should be in the public domain in advance anyway.

I’m also surprised if the club (or players themselves) don’t all pay for security at their properties on/around matchdays, esp away ones.

Defence lawyers know exactly the right terminology to get their cons the most lenient sentences possible ie coerced, mental health, addictions, tough childhood, family man etc it’s all nonsense our judicial system is completely broken.

If ever charged and then convicted of this, there is absolutely no way that any of them will get a suspended sentence and to even suggest is silly. Aggravated burglary, and robbery. 10 yrs maybe more
 
You really have got to admire his constitution given what he has just been through. Just hope that if selected his head is okay. He has a tenancy not to hold back ordinarily.

Wealthy footballers, sports stars and celebrities are targeted in pretty much every continent in the world. Recent incidents in Spain, Italy etc
And the super rich will always have to live with tight security. Nothing new

Maybe if far right tax dodgers like Rothermere, the Barclay Brothers, Murdoch and half the major donors to the Conservative party paid their fair share, then there might be more money available for the entire criminal justice system?
Anyway, all that has nothing to do with Joao and his family’s ordeal or City.
