Today just emphasised how teams can break up our play if they get inbetween our lines. Our front 3 were isolated from midfield and each other and offered little to win the ball. The midfield were sluggish. KdB hasn't the legs currently. The back 4 were exposed down the flanks.
How the hell we won is a mainly down to the sending off and the 2 pen calls.
Pep is gambling not using subs and the odds will catch him up at some point.

Well this is it. Despite being a bunch of gobshites, Everton are a proper club. I'd want Abu Dhabi to knock them out too. Everton picking up a trophy would actually mean something. This lot buying another one just voids the whole thing anyway in my eyes.

There was plenty of "indifference" on display on BT sport this lunch time. HA HA.
 
arsenal was good tonight but city legs was just about done and they give us a run around 1st half
3 big games over Christmas and 9 points and that should not be over looked after today game

the levels of energy and fitness was asking a bit to much of the lad today but we dug in and never give in
i will say if both team had the same amount of resting time between game then city win this game in a different way and have more control

city need new blood in the squad right now and a striker and maybe a left back. if we can not get the big targets this window then maybe we could come up short in the champions league and FA cup ? if i was pep and city i would strike right now with haaland if only to piss the rest off. it would be seeing city 12 points ahead and your adding haaland

Probably the worst we have played all season. The front 3 were really bad.

Winning whilst not playing great is a sign of Champions.

Got to say...Pep has thrown in some strange tactics during his tenure against the Rags, and these. We could have really put these to the sword and made the extra man count. We didn't, no idea why you wouldn't bring on fresh legs, and replace tired players. Maximise the use of Subs. Strange Guy(but a genius mostly :-)).

Also i personally thought the ref had a really good game, got everything right, and was not intimated by the Partisan crowd.

Now we get to rest, and come back for the Title run in.

Since Pep joined us we’ve played Arsenal 16 times, lost twice drawn once won thirteen, aggregate 38:9. I’d love to see how we’d get on if pep ever gets his tactics right.

It’s like I said in the “Are City Ruining Football?” thread; all these redshirt cartel clubs are the same…

They have no idea about the true history of football, don’t realise that their clubs were all football nobodies before their rise to the top, ruined football by creating a cartel in the hope they could keep football success and money for themselves forever, are very insecure about their grasp on being top clubs, don’t understand that nothing lasts forever.

Theyre all fucking horrible the redshirt bastards!
