Just been on the Dipper Echo website , its handy if you want the latest updates on our club , every other article we get a mention, they cant stop talking about us , their latest pearl of wisdom is Klippety's team have been "unlucky" this season , they are the unluckiest team in the country and this is the reason for their title collapse.
Last season it was injuries then it was too windy , the goal lines are to wide , the book of excuses the Dippers delve into every season must be the size of War & Peace , they live in a bubble and meet every fortnight at Klanfield for all the other cultists , its like a 50k self help and awareness meeting on the lines of Gamblers/Alcholic anonymous
Standing up one by one "My name is Laaaaahhhh , i am a Liverpooooooool fan and i have only seen one title in thirty years" then a burst of rapturous applause and the laying of another wreath and singing of the hymn from that very well known musical Carousel.
Is there another city in the world that wallows in self pity like LIverpooooooooooooooooooooool

To my mind we would weaken our defence.
Ha, I thought you'd replied to me yesterday but it was somebody else lol

I still wonder if Laporte wants to leave, I would take the player from Barca as he can play in several positions and Pep would love that lol plus Ake could step up to be first rotation and then we can give Callum Doyle or THB if he has not been destroyed by his loan move a chance to fight it out for 4th and 5th choice.

For me, Stones and Dias are the best pairing, not that I am hurrying Laporte out of the door but only if he wants to leave as was rumoured last season.

Fair comments. I may be miles off track but hasn't John Stones had a few injuries (personal issues) this season? It was that thought that gave me the concern about our defence.

Stones appears to have a very strange injury record. It seems he is out a lot but it is often hard to relate to any on field injuries, knocks or strains he picks up in matches. Whatever it is it is having a negative impact on his career.

I think he got rested at the start of the season due to reaching the euro final and at the same time Laporte was throwing his toys out of the pram about game time and he then played decent and stones couldn't get back in and for me John Stones is a player unsuited to rotation for both form and injuries, when he is in the team he plays better and gets less injuries but rotating in and out a lot he seems to pick up a lot piddly little injuries.

Appalling zero coverage of tonight's game from the Fail, I don't expect it from our viewpoint, but normally they'd be in overdrive when we're playing a much lower football team. Fuck all coverage about Swindon which must irk their fans somewhat , piss poor but not surprising from the hopeless fail twats

Guardian 10 things to talk about from the FA Cup: "City, clear at the top of the Premier League, have this week been strengthening their finances further by adding an Abu Dhabi-based renewable energy company to their sponsorship portfolio." The journalist's point was on the face of it to draw a contrast between the wealth of City and Swindon but in reality it's just click-bait and sadly there are still some City fans who comment. Why does it matter that the company is based in Abu Dhabi? The magic of the FA Cup is essentially about ties like this.

If you are commenting in the Guardian, why?

Well it matters to them as it is another way to say the Sheikh has got another state sponsor. If the energy company was Scottish it wouldn't be mentioned but, of course, they miss the point and we are always going to have a lot UAE advertising as people from that region watch City games for obvious reasons, well obvious to some but tHeY aRe StAtE oWnEd will be their mantra as per

The Scouse Cult really are obsessed by City. Their need to question everything about City is not healthy to say the least.

If anyone was still in any doubt how far newspapers in this country will bend over to spin for United...

Today we have been treated to why Ed Woodward quit as United Executive Vice-Chairman.

All briefed by Neil Ashton, no doubt, who Woodward appointed on £120k a year to improve his image.

Apparently he tendered his resignation when the Glazers pushed for the Super League.

He's now pushing for a job at government level by the way, secret meetings with Victoria Newton at The Sun, meeting government officials.

Anyhoo... I'll just leave this one here from our old friend Ceferin at Uefa, who provided a more accurate description of Woodward and his backstabbing.

Would have taken someone two minutes to have contradicted the bullshit Woodward brief.

With Pep Guardiola amongst a number of Manchester City players and staff testing positive for coronavirus, coach Rodolfo Borrell will be in charge for tonight's FA Cup tie at Swindon.
It will be the first time Borrell has been in sole charge of a team since November 2012, when he was leading Liverpool's Under-21 side into a game against Middlesbrough.
Borrell said on Thursday City are committed to fulfilling the game, although he was not too sure which players would be available.
I am guessing there is more concern over next Saturday's Premier League game against Manchester City.

You sure it's a proof reading problem?

With a 'mistake' like that they are GUARANTEED thousands of clicks and shares from disgruntled City fans.

They don’t care about City!

He used to be Liverpool's academy coach, back then is probably when he last was in charge.

Unless I've missed something else.
