There is nothing to reveal. You genuinely will never have heard of me. I have hardly heard of me.

You are building up expectations that are never going to be met. I know you might think I am being modest. But I am not. I just wrote a few books over a lot of years! Not novels. Not well known ones. And made a few TV and radio documentaries. And who recalls the name of the writer of these. I usually don't.

When I do sign off I might let my nephew tell anyone who really cares (it is truly not at all interesting I promise) He posts on here I think.
Just give me the nod, aunty.

Cryptic.

Andy McNab?

I think incidental is probably a big part of it purely because of the sheer volume of numbers infected.

On your 2nd point, I think bullying is a very strong word. The poster in question left a post on the forum that was always going to be called out for what it was. And when questioned, failed to suggest an alternative plan but implied full lockdown.
Kaz is a glass half empty girl, always has been when it comes to covid. That said I think shes a nice girl and has strong passionate opinions. If we all thought the same there would be nothing to discuss.

Not novels apparently. I'm going with Bill Bryson.

Bill Bryson is my favourite writer as it happens.

A Walk in the Woods was a masterpiece.

He slagged off Manchester in his UK travelogue but to be fair he visited Piccadilly in the mid 90s, so I’d have to agree with his comments on Manchester being a shithole given the places and times he visited.

Great writer, his short history and home books are also excellent.

Boy are you lot going to be disappointed when you realise I am not kidding and truly am not remotely famous.

No idea why you think otherwise. Anyone can write a book. Pretty much every politician has done so and that should tell you the bar is set pretty low.

We don't give a toss about the books you have written.

You've been on telly so that makes you dead famous....

I reckon she’s Ian Cheeseman.
He knows far more about City than I do. And too young to be at Radio Manchester when I was working there freelance years ago. So long that the radio commentary on games was still in black and white. Stuart Hall was there then but I don't think he has been at any City games lately owing to lockdown.
