Pep Guardiola: "We had a lot of cases and a lot of injuries. We play in Aston Villa with 11 first team players. The last four or five six games we have four or five academy players on the bench. We are in the same situation as: All. Other. Clubs." [via
@spbajko

Pep Guardiola on #ManCity's Covid situation vs other clubs. "Are you saying Omicron doesn't want to come here? We've had Covid and injuries like everybody else. It's all around the world, it's not that we're wiser or smarter or do protocols better than everybody..." [via
@SamLee

Pep Guardiola: "We are in the same situation as all other clubs. Injuries a bit less because our medical department are incredible..." [via

Pep Guardiola: "We plan a bit the next few days, learn this situation to take decisions on the day, or hours before a game. Today we're okay, in a few hours we have positives. We adapt. The points we've done this season and last is the quality of the players..." [via

............. EDDIE..........
WALKER....DIAS...LAPORTE...CANCELO
............... RODRI........
..........BERNARDO...FODEN...
JESUS......KEV.......STERLING

My only doubt would be if Gundo is in the middle three and one of Sterling or Jesus misses out for Phil.
Agree with the lineup, I suspect however some of these will miss out due to COVID

We'll be fine.

Pundits and other Billy know alls are going balls deep (or hoping) for a Chelsea win.

I personally think we'll batter them leading to a bunker like suicide pact with the BT Sport's team covering it.

Fingers firmly crossed

Basically, fans knew better than Pep the team that should have played? I very much doubt it.

This overthinking stuff is blown out of proportion and is a daft and tiring cliché now. Fans should accept that nothing guarantees success in a single game, especially in a CL final. People notice Pep's "experiments" only when they fail. They forget that Pep won the league with 100 pts by experimenting with a midfielder at LB, and then beat Liverpool to the title with another midfielder at LB, and then won another title by experimenting with Gundogan at false 9. If fans were told before the start of the season that Pep would try to win the league with Gundogan as a false 9, they'd have said that's the silliest thing they have ever heard. But the silliest thing worked to perfection! Pep's been experimenting all the time. Pep would be a flop if he wasn't Pep.

All this nonsense about Pep overthinking things should stop. It's embarrassing now.
Your shit excuses to justify he's beyond reproach are more embarrassing pal. No manager is infallible and Pep certainly isn't, even though he's been(and still is) an excellent manager in what he has achieved in the game. But he fucked up in the final, IMO.

New cases is worrying because using our best guess to determine who has had it recently, those left that haven't are pretty crucial and would be huge blows if they were missing tomorrow, the likes of Bernardo, cancelo, dias, laporte and ederson.
