I was simply meaning he is going into another country to support the regime. If he is too aggressive some may consider it an 'invasion' and rebel further. I am not saying I am right, my knowledge of politics within the 'stans' is very limited.

Fair enough. There have also been attacks from Russian separatists organisations in the past. From what I can tell, most of them practice a very moderate form of Islam.

And I love The Spainish people.
Next week I am going to The Australia, I may have mentioned it. I'm not sure.

Yes we still own Australia , part of the reason I am going there is to check it is being run properly.

With regards to Khazi Stan I will say in my defence that I read the books and watched the TV programmes that Simon Reeve did about the Stans. They were brilliant, Uzbekistan Khazistan Hildaandstan. Not much of a defence I know but slightly better than the Colston 4 one. :-)

If you're the leader of a country that noticed it's traditional foes have been paying and building military bases in every country surrounding yours. I'm sure you'll be just as pissed.

Russia now accusing Ukraine of planning a false flag operation using equipment and training provided by the UK. Targeting gas and oil complexes and pipes.

US accused Russia of similar plans a few days back.

Biden has said US will tolerate limited incursions and seems unlikely Russia will want to march it’s troops back down again without some sort of fight. That’s a huge concession and it gives Putin a way out. Well done Biden, genuinely a fantastic piece of diplomacy.

My tea leaf prediction; fighting will break out - most likely small scale with both sides accusing the other of starting it - the hopes in both Moscow and Washington are that they can flex their muscles and look tough to the galleries and then go home. I hope someone remembers to tell the Ukrainians of the plan and to mostly stay home otherwise this has - like all military interventions to an extent - the potential to get badly out of control.

Surely a pre-emptive strike by the Ukraine is the way to go - Satellite images clearly show that all the Russian military is neatly lined up in orderly rows on their border so even easier to execute than Pear Harbour was, what could possibly go wrong!
