I know for a fact his agent has been at 2 or 3 United games this season (guests of Adidas) with meetings held. United are going in for him in the summer 100%. Don't know anything about Chelsea though, but wouldn't surprise me if he ends up there either.

He isn't coming to City though.

It's not crap. Adidas want him as a United poster boy and are willing to pay a premium to see it happen. Of course, sponsorships play a huge role in transfers. To suggest otherwise is crazy. Do you think he'd retain the money he receives from Adidas if he decided to join Accrington Stanley?
 
According to Goal, who cite Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Raiola is ‘positioning’ de Ligt to leave Juventus.

The Dutch centre-back apparently has a release clause worth €150million (£125m) which becomes active in the summer. But Juve are now willing to accept €65m (£54.1m) for the star, in a surprising turn of events.

Chelsea are aiming to sign de Ligt and make him the successor to Thiago Silva. Pep Guardiola’s City are also in the race, as they want to partner de Ligt with Ruben Dias.

Cheap for 54m. but yeah this is bollocks.

Good on Adidas - but the lad will be wasting his time there, and hopefully playing Europa League football (I dare to dream lower, but one team will piss it away allowing them the privilege)
If he'd rather worry about his sponsors, and any reduction in payments there, then he's not looking at the bigger picture

As it stands, rags aren’t an upgrade from WHU. I’d expect them to get their shit together eventually, a brand that big will always have better long term prospects, but right now it’s not a step up.
