Goldbridge has been whinging about this all day. Says this player could be the "next Aguero" and he shouldn't come to City, 'cos it's not fair. They really are a herd of sulky, bitter muppets.
Like spoilt little rich kids at Christmas , they already have the biggest squad in the league but want more more more.

Will see him in our side next season? Am always not sure these days we buy so many young players and send of to one of our other clubs so when we buy someone not sure we will ever see them.

Giorgios Samaras says "hold my ouzo".
I've watched every Samaras highlights video I can find. It was a lot of once in a lifetime amazing shots spliced with discernibly average football.

Sure anyone can flop, but you can see superior technique on a highlight real.

I didn't need to watch a year of Mahrez or Bernado to know their ball control was of highest quality. Some things just jump out.

Alvarez shooting technique and composure mixed with his technical skills stand out.

From YouTube alone I'll bet good money his no Samaras.

Just watched a montage of Alvarez's 38 assists and goals for River plate , he broke into the team in 2019 and has been a regular for over 12 months , he looks a seriously good player and is known for a great work ethic and pressing he would suit our style and at under £20m appears a no brainer
Quite sure Pep will knock off the rough edges and develop him into an excellent striker , would be nice to spend £20m on potential a£70m on Haaland £40m for his agent and a £250m contract.

Looks very good on the YT compilation but let’s be honest Blues the standard he’s playing against is fucking bobbins.

That said, Pep knows the score, so I’m in.

If he's half as good as our former Argentinian striker, he'd do for me. But the question has to be, could he do it on a wet wednesday night in Stok, er, Burnl, er, Trafford?
You've obviously never been to Argentina?...

Same kind of challenges and goalkeeping Maradona, Aguero, Higuain, Batistuta, Crespo, Icardi, Tevez, Milito, Dybala, P. Gomez, Lautaro, etc. grew up playing against...they all did OK across the pond...
When Maradona was playing, not every half decent Argentinian was playing in Europe! Years back, that and the Brazilian league were strong.....remember watching European champion dippers being absolutely outclassed by Flemengo in the europe/South America game whatever it was called then...with Zico playing, and he wasn't a kid ;)
