Fulham not that good, how they scored all those goals recently is a mystery.
They might just have been really poor today as a one-off.Fulham not that good, how they scored all those goals recently is a mystery.
Well, it was never going to be Rhian Brewster, was it?!Billy Sharp again!
Or McGoldrick who I’ve still never seen score.Well, it was never going to be Rhian Brewster, was it?!
Poundland Paul Dickov!Or McGoldrick who I’ve still never seen score.
Just had a look and he’s only scored 15 in his last 88 as a striker!
Eddie McGoldrick was more prolific than David is!Poundland Paul Dickov!
Now now, be nice.Well, it was never going to be Rhian Brewster, was it?!
He’s scored 3 times in 40 appearances for Sheffield Utd.Now now, be nice.
Littlewoods saw the Blades coming, when they concluded that deal.Well, it was never going to be Rhian Brewster, was it?!
He learned his craft at the "This Means More" corporation. That alone deserves our undying respect. He’s scored 3 times in 40 appearances for Sheffield Utd.
How would you like me to sugar coat the fact he doesn’t score many goals?
Although scoring doesn’t seem to mean anything to him.He learned his craft at the "This Means More" corporation. That alone deserves our undying respect.
Football at the elite level has lost sight of what's important, how the fans are treated. The actual football is outstanding (at least with us, anyway), but the fan/customer is shabbily treated, and taken for granted. Ticket pricing is a joke now. Yes, the calibre of player we have at the club now don't come cheap. But £63-70 for the Spurs game (which I'm considering) is getting very hard to justify now.Just been with my Bristol City supporting mate to watch them play Preston at Deepdale.
Both resolutely mid table and with not much to play for, barring a miraculous run of victories or a disastrous collapse. But a decent and entertaining game, the Robins led twice but were pegged back by what looked like a worldy of a volley in the 95th minute after they messed up a 2 v 1 breakaway to seal the game.
It was typical championship, two honest and well matched sides both going for the win in the second half, after Bristol City dominated the first and should have gone in more than 1 up.
Former blues Greg Cunningham and sub Ched Evans turned out for Preston, Scott Sinclair didn’t make it off the bench.
The ‘matchday experience’ as they call it was great at Preston. Left my mate’s gaff in Urmston at 1.30 and were in the ground by 2.30. Street parking 5 mins away, £24 ticket from the window as a walk up, friendly stewards, no searches, wands or insisting we opened jackets and removed hats etc. Nice ‘butter pie’ for £3 and they let anybody who wanted a smoke at half time to go to a fenced off area outside, rather than the Etihad toilets experience.
I think there are sone clubs in the conference who charge more than £24 tbf!Football at the elite level has lost sight of what's important, how the fans are treated. Horrific. Surely a retrospective ban incoming, ref didn’t even give a foul never mind a red cardJust seen highlights of Huddersfield v Stoke on Friday, the challenge on harwood- bellis could of snapped his knee cap, awful awful challenge....refs performance was wank throughout the game...

Unfortunately gate receipts matter to the clubs lower down the leagues which is why it costs what it does in the conference etc.I think there are sone clubs in the conference who charge more than £24 tbf!
It was a pleasant throwback to the days of just deciding to go on the day, walking up and buying a ticket, no worries about supporter numbers, downloading and apps etc.
Also nice to watch a game stress free and just enjoy it for what it is.
Preston seem a very decent and stable club with decent pricing and friendly people everywhere we went.
It was a much more pleasant experience than many places Ive been with City as an away fan in the Premier League
