Formula 1 2022

That would be brilliant and make for much more entertaining racing

These regulations will shake up the field, Red Bull finished 7th in the constructors championship in 2008. Brawn GP came from no where to win it in 2009 and then Red Bull dominated until the turbo hybrid regs came in. Mercedes we’re trundling around in the middle of the pack at the time.

Some car designers will see something in the regulations and get an advantage, others will get it wrong and spend the rest of the year fighting it back.

After the exciting end to last season I'm looking forward to sparks flying this season.
Just a shame all cars aren't equal so it's a real battle of best driver and we see more different winners
It gets very boring when one team/ driver dominates
It was a manufactured and artificial ending to the season. Purely engineered for TV ratings.

Football is going the same way with the VAR.

Brawn didn’t exactly come from nowhere.
Honda had been developing the car for over a year when they decided to pull out of F1. Ross Brawn was part of a management buy out of the old team.

They had a shell of a car though inherited from Honda, with a fraction of the budget Honda had. They couldn’t even afford to hire a track to shake down the car so had to do it on one of Silverstone’s circuits that you go on when you get a driving day voucher for Christmas. Would love to see something like that happen again.

they had a car Honda had put hundreds of millions which had the double diffuser tech which gave them a huge advantage in the first half of the season. They did an awesome job with what they had though.

Absolutely! The bad part was the ratings for the Grand Prix were already locked in at stage, but Masi STILL succumbed to the desire to make a spectacle, rather than simply follow the rules.

Football is going the same way with the VAR.

Sad to say, it’s certainly looking that way.

Honda had put money into it, they still had a shell of a car and zero budget to develop it throughout the season. They had to put a Mercedes engine into the car, that’s marrying up to a design that was produced for a different engine.

They had an advantage straight away with the double diffuser which led to them being out in front. Red Bull dragged it back in the back end of the season, a miracle and an amazing season to appreciate.

Grow up.

Love the conspiracy in this thread, it's silly. Hamilton lost fair and square, if you balance it out over the season with what the 'Sir' got away with then I think a fair result was achieved in the end.

It's about time we had a dislike button on here

Sounds like the script for a good film. If only Ross was American then Hollywood would have been all over this
