It fell to the Chelsea player who was ahead of Ruby Mace and swirling wind is difficult to judge.

Anyway, it's gone and she's played well, despite your slagging off!
 
Weir reminds me of Gordon Smith from years ago - seems to be just a yard off the pace yet capable of the odd wonder goal - today has not been her game. Playing well now, Losada having a big impact.

I said one thing, if I wanted to slag her off I could have mentioned the penalty or the handball but I didn't.

It was an observation as it was that bad a leap and again the wind didn't affect the Chelsea players' timing did it.
 
Another loss albeit only by one goal but, I’m afraid, this will continue until the City management is cleared out and someone with experience of winning trophies is put in place. I am convinced that the hierarch at City are only paying lip service to the women’ team and that half way up the league will suffice, mores the pity.

Has not earned a first team place this season on performance…..yet always selected. Seems that a ‘worldie’ a season is enough. Needs to be dropped.
What a frustratingly annoying game….a game that revealed all of our serious shortcomings this season….or another GT masterclass??

Chelsea have got better players as well as a better coach. We are winging good crosses in at the end of the game and we haven’t got enough players in Chelsea’s box or challenge going in the air.

Blackstad looks like she will be a good player for us and Losada deserves a run of starts.

We need a no nonsense centra defender like Millie Bright

Can't disagree tbh
 
Disappointing performance for 75 mins, left it far too late before we decided to start playing. Taylor's team selection and tactics are baffling. I am struggling to understand his appointment. I wonder if the club actually discussed the position with others or was he the only candidate, I find it hard to believe he would have been appointed had he not already been at the club.

I don't believe that but there is far too much chopping and changing of the team. I don't think Taylor is the answer, he's our Phil Chuckle. He'd better pull his finger out against the rags.

I get the same feeling with the club and the women's team , ie do they really care? We've got a great young squad to build a great team with , and personally think they could build the best team in the country !

That was the big chance you work for and a terrible effort at a cross - time, space - so poor. This was a winnable game but tells me we need to move a few on.

Gareth seems to get some of the big calls wrong, you could see Weir was not having a good game and I would have brought on the direct play and industry of Raso. Also the game today needed a player to take control of the midfield, & play under the wind if you like. We played so much better when Losada did that and we created two really good chances - mind blowing we buy a CL winning captain and don't play her regularly. Missing Kelly & her finishing more than most big opportunity wasted again.
 
I can see us struggling to recruit and retain players in the summer if we don't make a champions's league position, and I have to say that is not looking likely at the moment.
 
We are not capable of playing 10 minutes of decent football. That is not much to ask for; only TEN minutes. And no for the idea of having Houghton or Jill Scott or any other player who has no experience to be in charge. The team needs an experienced individual who knows what he/she is doing. We already have an ignorant coach in charge, and look what is going on.
