What are your unpopular opinions on City that you believe 100%?

Everything I hated about United in the 90s we're becoming.
There is definitely something in this.... sadly some of our fans are becoming a bunch of "entitleds".

Never accepting defeat with grace. rarely do we lose to a side that is better than us but more often they are luckier, or we are poor finishers or the ref gave dubious decisions.... and so iut goes on.

BUT THAT IS WHAT MAKES FOOTBALL THE GAME IT IS!

"Champions of England, we know what we are" is a fucking shit song. The "we know what we are" comes from Chelsea fans singing "Anton Ferdinand you know what you are" after John Terry racially abused him and they blindly defended him and we shouldn't sing it. And it's just shit.

We're the only fanbase in the country that still does the Soccer AM "easy easy easy" after we score and its fucking terrible.

John Stones and Kevin de Bruyne are the only current first team player players I can imagine being sound in real life.
Completely agree. Absolutely shit song.

As is “he’s one of our own”

The way our fans immediately look to blame the refs, VAR, PIGMOB, the Premier League, the FA, UEFA, FIFA, United, Liverpool, the media, the kick off time, the light, and anything and anyone else but ourselves when we lose or miss out on a trophy is embarrassing.

It happens all the time with a sizeable chunk of our fans.

Far too many of us never think it’s our own fault when we lose. It’s absolutely delusional… LFC-like, in fact!

As a terrace song, there's nothing wrong with Blue Moon. It used to be sung on the Kippax rather than chanted and it sounded so much better. The ridiculous "clap along" version is even worse.

When we beat Liverpool 2-1 at home in the first home match of the season, when David White scored twice, it was probably the most spine tingling airing it ever had.

De Bruyne has mostly been shit this season and given the ball away or overhit passes and crosses far too much

“come on city” is a weak and pathetic sounding chant

Niall Quinn is and always will be a City legend and a gentleman

The lack of atmosphere and number of empty seats for some big games in the past few years, particularly in the CL, has been embarrassing

Maybe this opinion isn’t unpopular enough. Maine road was and always will be a better ground than the etihad

atmosphere was better, had more character, the way fans were allocated ie singers in kippax/ north stand was good.

the etihad is basically arsenals ground without the third tiers joined up

the area was better as well. Lots of pubs/ nice food places. Beswick has no character, no pubs and other then to see city most people wouldn’t go there
