Russian invasion of Ukraine

Hiroshima was livable about a month after the bomb went off. All depends on altitude the bomb goes off etc.

Granted even the smallest nukes now are far bigger than those the principle is the same. If 1 nuke goes off about 500m up the city is destroyed but radiation fall out isn’t “horrific” in the grand scheme of things. If the nuke goes off at ground level then the debris it launches upwards is radioactive and the fall out is far worse.

obviously if that triggers responses and responses to responses and you end up with 5/6k nukes all going off. No matter how well planned they are we’re fucked and in a nuclear winter!
Couldn’t we have a nuclear summer instead?

Not at all. I used to be fit and healthy so had better things to do than post on a football forum.

Now I'm terminally ill I don't.

What is your excuse?
About being on here? I look after my 95 year old grandma. It‘s difficult to get out much these days.

Seems strange that you’ve just resumed posting after 14 years on a football forum and never about football, that’s all.

Sorry to hear about your circumstances.

Is there any intel to suggest Russia has warships or subs heading towards the Black Sea
They have plenty in there already. It's more to do with freedom of movement -> Med -> Atlantic.

The Black sea, Russia has generally treated (like Ukraine) as 'there's'. Especially back in Imperial/Soviet times.

Big news if true about Turkey blockading the Black Sea. What happens if a Russian warship tries to get through could certainly get interesting mind, and not in a good way.
I'm ot sure they can or would stop them, but what hey need to do, with NATO support, is identify the officers on every Russian warship going in and out of the Black Sea.

And, advise them that they will be hunted to the ends of the earth and until the end of time for any crimes they commit. Just lik ethe Nazis have been. When they are sat at home quetly at 82 yrs old, there will come a knock on the door and they will be carted off to prison for the rest of their days.

Twitter and co have been switched off by Russia because it is filling up with videos of smashed Russian vehicles, tanks, downed aircraft and dead servicemen.

Not bad for a country that hasn’t suffered a single loss yet.
