Yeah, I wouldn’t use the term. But I also don’t think it’s something that has any geopolitical relevance. If people are a bit behind the times and use it I don’t see it as particularly objectionable. A Ukrainian might, but I doubt they’re idly browsing Bluemoon at the moment.

My line of thinking too.

It's a "soft" start with Ukraine, as they aren't in NATO, and he can make a start, while hopefully (in his head, absolutely not my hope) causing further friction between the west regarding sanctions, intervention, etc, knowing nothing will likely happen barring a few wrist slaps.

I think a line's been crossed now that can't be uncrossed, and the fight to avoid a second rising of the Iron Curtain has started.

Hopefully I'm completely wrong, I just don't see it at this point.

Whatever the fuck, innocent people are being killed, injured, displaced and fucked about. Maybe it hits home harder because it's in a place I've been to, maybe I'm a hypocrite for not feeling like this any time this happens around the world. Sure. All I know is I feel shitty today, and feel sorry for all the innocent people being fucked by this.
