They are the countries that use the same ex-USSR planes as Ukraine so the pilots can fly them and groundcrews service them.

Bulgaria backtracked publicly, I haven't heard anything about the others but now we know why the column hasn't been attacked and when Kyiv is encircled and civilians are dying in their thousands from the artillery in that convoy we will know the reason was a broken promise from NATO.

He complains about two countries at war with each other but hasn’t got the balls to call out the invading, murdering aggressor. I agree Paul, I think we are about to see the destruction of Kyiv, and there may come a time when the western world simply can’t just continue to watch it happen. If the Russian generals and oligarchs don’t stop the mad **** it’s going to be appalling beyond words

How’s everyone’s anxiety right now?

Am very anxious, mainly because of my assessment that Putin is capable of using nuclear weapons in extremis. I reckon he perceives others merely as ‘dots that stop moving’ (to paraphrase Harry Lime’s famous speech from The Third Man).

Also feel a bit shit because it’s the Ukrainians who are, of course, actually having to endure all this, whereas I am just a scared wimp at the other end of a keyboard.

Every day I get angrier and angrier with these fucking cunts and Putin. I hope he bleeds out for days on end in agony before dying miserably.

The individual human stories about those this is affecting is heart wrenching.

Any Russian who doesn’t condemn this is an enemy in my opinion.
