My late grandad fought with the Gurkhas in WW2 in Burma. I remember him telling me when I was a kid how amazingly brave and fearless they were, he said it was the greatest honour of his life to fight beside those guys.

My son recently married the daughter of a retired Ghurka major ( highest rank they are allowed to reach).
Lovely quiet man but very serious.
