Russian invasion of Ukraine

Russia must be greasing the palms of a few African countries, surprised how many of them abstained, I was unaware of major Russian presence on that continent.
 
( There are some people saying we should impose no fly zones, potentially take on Russia and if it leads to nuclear war so be it as "Putin & his war machine must be stopped". I think we should be involved in humanitarian support & imposing sanctions but not sure we should be getting in direct conflict yet. A line does need to be drawn and if he tries to go over it we must follow though but it's not as clear cut & simple as some seem to think. (I'm not referring to you when I say that).


The line is already clear, it is any countries border that is a member of NATO. Like you say, for now we offer support and refuge and certainly lots of financial support to the likes of Poland who are taking hundreds of thousands of refugees.

Are lots of Ukrainians who are fleeing heading to Lviv? That seems a long way from the current war zone and I don’t think Russia have rhe supply lines to reach that far. They could always bomb it though I suppose but it looks so far like they are trying to divide the country into two parts.
 
Moscow saying there is some common ground in potential peace talks. Really hope this true, but obviously not confident.

China certainly are. Friend of mine is very senior in the military and China are the worry long term rather than Russia, although to be fair, that was before this kicked off.

I was more amused by the lady not switching off her volume on the phone whilst filming a Russian paratrooper trying to work out how to open a door - don't they have a silence button on Ukrainian mobiles!
