China have blocked the premier league being broadcast because of teams showing support for Ukraine. It’s clear China are on Russia’s side and probably have secret economic/trade agreements in place with them.

Unintended consequences and all that. The problem is that western foreign policy is just as vulnerable to this unpredictable chaos. Who could have seen that arming the Mujahedeen from 79-89 would lead to 9/11? Sometimes I think it's a case of every action resulting in equal and opposite reaction - this will also apply to the consequences of a rapidly expanding NATO.

Your post puts me in mind of one of the most gripping films I’ve ever watched, Bitter Lake. I’m no fan of everything Curtis has done by any means, but that film was such an insight.

Well if they look at the intelligence and the risks and decide they should ,then we have to trust they are right. Same way though if they decide it’s too much of a risk then I will trust that decision too.

i would hope that would be the first step when a nuclear war is certainly on the cards,not the fly zone but sending in NATO solders with a message that nuclear insnt an option,its a roll of the dice before it kicks off big style
