One complaint about today’s atmosphere. We really should have banged out “You’re the shit of Manchester” a few times.

“We’re the pride of Manchester” should always be sung n’all. Not even just on Derby Day, all the time!

Loved how edgy and feisty it all felt today. The packed concourses and everyone up for it.
Saw an old skool guy from the spirals at J shouting down to the stewards when he spotted a pair of red cunts trying to hide their tops and sneak in, fair fucks to him, the stewards tried to make him the bad guy but he stood his ground and stopped them getting in

It’s one thing sneaking in the home end if that’s the only way you can get a ticket. Providing you don’t celebrate or cause trouble, it happens all the time.

But what breed of moron goes to a derby with a ticket in the opposition end actually wearing colours?

One complaint I do have (and it’s not actually atmosphere related) but I was going to take a picture of the display in SSL1 to post on here but I didn’t bother because there were empty areas of the stand where fans hadn’t bothered to get down to their seats yet, and the corporate bit above SSL1 was also empty with everyone there still in the hospitality indoors… so the picture wouldn’t have been that good.

A suggestion I have - Maybe the displays should be moved away from SSL1 since that’s the area of the ground where fans get into their seats latest (and the corporate bit above always ruins the shot even if SSL1 did all get there early)?

Or fans need to bloody get to their seats earlier, especially in big games!

Great banner that though; “NOT IN MY LIFETIME”… that should be there before every derby game!

Great day yesterday really enjoyed it, came out the ground with that buzz that is quite rare at the etihad nowadays. I will also stand by that when we are on it our atmosphere is better then anyone else’s in the league, yes including the world famous Anfield atmosphere.

I properly enjoy a rendition of “You’ve seen the champions now fuck off home” especially against the rags, mildly disappointed not to hear that today

Even the Family Stand was starting songs!

And the two full-stadium participation of the Poznań, all doing it at the same time for the first time ever!; and Yaya-Kolo, which I’ve never seen before at that extent.

Fucking quality

There was a moment as well, where we were singing Blue Moon (and I’m one of the most critical of that chant as I think it’s a right dreary old song) and it felt like the whole ground was singing it at once… it’s the first time in years where it’s felt proper, sung properly. Was hair raising!

Yeah, went from 1000 left to 300 left after yesterday's game. That's why I think we should all be bouncing again. Even a rendition of Kolo and Yaya for 90 minutes will do.

Didn’t notice anything particularly different today but the atmosphere was good after being a little tense at the end of the first half. Songs were starting in the family stand and that hasn’t happened for a long time.

Great celebratory atmosphere for the last 20 minutes when the game was won. My boys absolutely loved it. Best Poznan for years too. Even my dad joined in.

Our trial didn't work quite as well as we'd have liked. Overall I think the atmosphere was consistently loud enough that it didn't make a difference. It might be more noticeable against Sporting but we'll see.

Regardless, I thought the last 10 minutes yesterday were as good as I've heard the Etihad!
