TV Series

Am I the only one that thinks Peaky Blinders is a bit shit.
No.

Every episode - a new gang from another city threaten to take business from the Peaky Blinders. 3 gobshites from Birmingham turn up unannounced and leather an entire pub.

I made it just over the first series before the knobhead brother broke my resistance.

Overly directed under written, style over substance. It started okay but has got progressively worse. More hyped up shit from the Beeb like the bodyguard and line of duty. The last 2 episodes have been gash.

So, Servant of the People. Any takers, anyone going to try it?

Been added to C4 now, feels a bit exploitist yet I am quite intrigued.

Nine Perfect Strangers. 5/10
Not what I was expecting, thought it was a And then there where none/10 little indians type of series with a great cast (Michael Shannon), but it wasnt. It actualy started off well in the first 3 episodes, buy then went downhill. But Id started it so I finished it.

I tried to watch it the other night but failed abysmally when I reached for the off button after 15 minutes, attention span isn't what it was and even when it was it wasn't up to much :)
You should try it again ;-) Like any worthwhile programme it has to set the scene and get you "engaged" with the characters (although it did labour that, I have to admit), yet it's really worth staying with it.
There's a scene in (I think) the fifth episode where a zombie is used by a "baddie" that I've never seen before....innovative to say the least!! Lol!!

Trust me, it's a great series
