Anyone else think its only a matter of time before some loony on squawk starts ranting on about how the Chelsea sanctions "offer an excuse to go after City's owners"?

They have been going after us since 2008!

The USA & UK must be the cleanest countries in the world to have such a high moral stance.

The whole thing is dirty, but the argument seems to be I’m not as dirty as you…

Liverpool fans have been prosecuted for murder. That will take some topping.
 
Dont understand pundits when they discuss the title run in they mention that Dippers still have to play us , the fact its a the Etihad is a negative , they havent won here for six years in the league and have been battered 5-0, 4-0 , 4-1 during that time.
Not forgetting the pressure is all on the Dippers to win the game , a draw isnt any good for them and a defeat ends their title challenge , if they come to our place and they are still three points behind they have no choice but to attack us and try and take our title , which will play into our hands because we will pick holes in their defence and their high line containing the best centre back the world has ever seen , Beckenbauer and Bobby Moore rolled into one , or maybe he's an overrated 30 year old crock with a dodgy knee.

They'll do what they always do against us, play safe and try to hit us on the break. Tactics are not Klipperty's strength: the amount of long-balls the dippers play is awful, an embarrassment, really. They wouldn't have been out of place at Plough Lane back in the 80's.

You are spot on....but then its all about the media desperate for clicks and to sell more copy, to build it into that huge rivalry, the rivalry for the ages... pretty much as they did with Ferguson/Wenger, Pep/Mourinho. All about keeping that title race alive.
As you say, we have been battered by you at your place and so its gonna take Klopp doing something slightly different I think to try and get a result. I stop short of suggesting that we try and emulate Spurs though!
