Cant understand this, look at who they have played since Jan 2 in the league, its possibly the easiest run of games possible.
Strangely coinciding with the Afcon. I remember "Rafa's Rant" talking about fixtures and other things. It seems now that United can't challenge, they are getting the benefit. I also seem to remember Ryan Babbel making a post of a referee in a United shirt after Liverpool played United. I'm sure that Liverpool supporters will have collective amnesia about that "history" too.

The mentality moshers won again.

That’s it over, city have no chance against “I grieve more”. Pity they did not adopt this stance when they murdered innocent fans.

let’s not forget the dark cloud this disgusting club try relentlessly to ignore with #buy a reef campaigns on any tragedy.

#It reefs more
#I grieve more

I wouldn’t be surprised if most of those at Klanfield on a match day know nothing of Littlewoods' "sportswashing" during the 60s, 70s and 80s.
I saw a video of someone showing United supporters a picture of George Best and asking United supporters to name the player. Most of these dedicated supporters were stumped. It amazes me how both sets of the " history twins" supporters don't actually know their history and just repeat parrot fashion what they read in the media.

I see a great barrier to this campaign

Quietly minding my own business, attempting worldle, geography based game. Came across this in the wiki article on Bouvet Island

The first claim to have landed on the island was made by the American sailor Benjamin Morrell, although this claim is disputed. In 1825, the island was claimed for the British Crown by George Norris, who named it Liverpool Island. He also reported having sighted another island nearby, which he named Thompson Island, but this was later shown to be a phantom island.

Dippers, eh!

Its funny but I seem to be getting a few of those sort of videos in one of my feeds, think they are something like "give me sport".
Of course I know my "istree" but for most football started in 1992 and if you suggested that the likes of Preston or Huddersfield had won "the league" I suspect many a young fan would tell you to fuck off. But then how many of them were brought up waiting eagerly to get their copy of "Shoot" each week or actually enjoying going reading the "Rothmans"

Yeah, I saw that too.

I’d imagine that the vast majority of match-going Blues would know who Lee, Bell and Summerbee are (same era as the liver thief).

There are Liverpool fans who genuinely believe Everton have never won anything. Apparently football didn’t exist before 1995.

@FightLikeAGirl
The thing is it didn't. Sky have
removed everything before then. Forest and Villa never won the european cup. Ipswich have never won the league.
Its like a Sci Fi film there was nothing before Sky

Well Everton winning anything is something that many a Liverpool fan would like to airbrush from "istree", abit like for me, the idea that Barry Venison ever played for Liverpool!
Maybe it is an age thing. Like the history, many dont really care about anything other than the Premier League. Whilst everyone on this forum is loving the current success I doubt that there are many that dont have a degree of fondness for the experience they had when they dropped down the divisions. As I think that (OK I'm guessing here) that for many it made them appreciate football, made them mappreciate their club, the supporters and what it means to really support a club.
I think without the history of a club and without the whole sturcture of our leagues, then so much is lost.

...Jumpers for goalposts....

I studied the Rothmans League Book as a kid as if it was my catechism. It's been so useful in life to know I could recognise a team by it's away socks, and recite 92 different nicknames for teams.
Happy days. Jumpers for goalposts.

The site doesnt allow me to "like" that more than once!
Your reply had me shaking my head, reverting to grumpy old man mode and uttering....."kids today!"

Me and 'our kid' would test each other constantly on the minutiae, and after 5 or 10 happy minutes, it would descend into an argument; get the book out to resolve things; agree on the answer, and THEN, start fighting. The book was sacred though, and always survived - as did we.
As I say - happy days.

'Salah must decide if he wants icon status - or money' - will Liverpool forward stay at Annfield? From bbc

In other words - stay with Liverpool cuz this means more. Or leave Liverpool and your a mercenary and over rated.
