It's brilliant isn't it. My missus grew up in Urmston, all her family are reds and, whilst she wasn't particularly interested one way or t'other she'd have definitely leant towards the red side in her youth. I took her to Maine Road, we were sitting fairly close to the front in the main stand and an opposition player took Ali Benarbia out, straight away she's on her feet shouting "Dirty Bastard" .... and I thought yeah, this one's a 'keeper'!
 
News bulletin just said that Europe is going to ask Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia for help with gas and oil supplies.
No mention of human rights abuse.
No mention of Europe having blood on their hands after the executions in Saudi.

Meanwhile in football World, the bitter little **** who thinks he's citizen smith bumfluff fuck face red mardarse Neville has said both countries had better watch their backs as we're next because of our owners coming from the two countries mentioned.

Just shows up the little prick for what he is, a bitter ex rag jealous of a club that he's sneered and laughed at all his life who have become a colossus on and off the pitch.
 
Somebody needs to ask Neville about his association with Peter Lim and is it fair competition that a billionaire is putting his money into Salford City. Also due to his involvement in the production of palm oil that is leading to the destruction of forests worldwide, is he not sports washing?

They had Liz Truss on GMB this morning - they were questioning why we are going from 1 dictator to another for our Oil - tarnishing the Saudi's with the same brush

Liz Truss did say both Saudi Arabia and United Emirates have questionable Human Right records. It's out there but the UK is heavily reliant on the middle east for investment in the UK
 
If these fuckers are so interested in removing dodgy owners etc - why doesn't someone propose a full football reset.

Remove all owners and have fan owned/small business owned teams make football an even playing field, teams are only allowed a certain budget for wages and costs (equal for all no matter how big the team was) - have to have UK players only and 7 have to be local - all match day & TV revenue shared equally.

No one will propose that - as the Premier League as a product will be fucked and all these journo cunts will be out of a job - no one will be interested in UK football. Money will go out of the game then the European leagues will jump in and take the opportunity.

It's unwatchable anyway with the amount of action replays and shots of someone sat on the bench, all this despite the match being in play and nearly missing goals on numerous occasions. I doubt any of the idiots responsible for the unbelieavably bad coverage actually go to games off duty and support a team of their own.
 
Working from home today and had the misfortune to stick Talkshite on in the background.

main discussion point is obviously Chelsea and Roman but they’ve somehow managed to shift the focus on to us and Abu Dhabi and how we’re now running football even further by signing Haaland at 500k a week.

poor form from Trevor Sinclair too, falling into the trap of saying we are state owned and this signing is bad for the integrity of football in the UK but then on the other hand saying it’s a great signing for city as we need a striker. Said the Spanish league has a wage cap yep they do now but Jordan you lazy thick fcuk do research on ffp seeing you like to talk about it enough, there was a rule that would make clubs internally cap there wages! That Rule was removed by Gill when it started to effect his club! No one in the media said a word about it.
