Went for a few years with a mate who lived in Sale. As we passed the swamp on the way home, we wound the car windows down and the two of us along with his wife all gave the “V” sign. Very satisfying.

Mrs Vienna grew up in Glastonbury Road, Stretford. It’s about 2 1/2 miles from the swamp.

It’s a wonder that living that close to the shithole didn’t adversely affect her.
 
According to the Daily United, the Glazer’s/Manchester United have been told a new stadium would cost up to £1.5bill to build.

Apparently the preferred option, see below, is to extend the ‘truth will come out’ Bobby Charlton main stand, increasing the Old Toilet capacity to 80,000+ Cockney’s, Irish, Welsh, Home Counties, etc, fans. ;-)

The 3 options to redevelop Old Toilet are a sticking plaster, a lick of paint, and some spare pieces of MDF nailed on.

A complete rebuild is one of three options on the table for United, as officials consider how best to make their iconic but faded stadium fit for modern purpose.

The second option is a £400million expansion of the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand up and over the railway line that runs behind it, an option that would take the capacity of the historic stadium beyond 80,000.

The final option is to leave the stadium structurally intact but conduct a comprehensive revamp of spectator and corporate areas on all four sides of the ground.

Club officials have been presented costings for the projects, but have yet to sign off on a proposal.

The club is locked in talks with several planners bidding to oversee the work and are keeping their options open.

Final option it is then, lick of paint, patch the roof & design a new posh fucker menu.

What the dump really needs is to reduce the attendance and have more space in between seats a new roof and much more, there is zero chance Glazers are going to build a new stadium!
