Amazing the amount of companies scrambling to take the P&O crews. EasyJet fast tracking any applications. They know anyone who did that job for a length of time is the top of their game.
Does a Ships Masters Certificate also qualify you to pilot an Airbus?

No it doesn't of course but they need plenty of cabin crew. Other shipping companies are offering jobs to all hands, from Captains to stewards.
P and O - a great British company - owned in Dubai
They are yes although they said P&O ferries were a stand alone company. They have two brand new ships coming soon that will be quicker, fit more trips in every day and therefore make more money. They are doing this now so when they come out all the cheaper crew will be fully au fait with everything. Kerching for the owners.
