Please click and read. I’m not in the slightest bit surprised at this but it seems civil servants are so uneasy at what is going on they are risking the sack to leak the evidence.

I was reading a report out from last week that suggests that currently if you are single in this country you are paying on average £630 per month (over £7500 annualy) additional (than if you were in a relationship). This is on bills/food/holidays etc.

The figures are unreal to be honest and what a penalty people are paying for being alone, many through no fault of their own. It's almost like people are being unfairly penalised, ok you get 25% council tax discount, shouldn't that be at least 50%?

Don't know how they work that out, but it's always been true that living alone is more expensive than not.

Yes some of the figures are a bit sketchy. Like it says £70 a week on food, mine is nothing like that but yes I agree with what you state.

My only surprise is that people are surprised. To make the vision of Toryville PLC work, workers rights have to be the weakest possible. After all plebs are just plebs right?
Multiple posters have already pointed out that French fleet workers were treated differently because they have stronger employment protection and because they would have probably sunk the boats.
in my past working life I got directly involved in screwing people over. I am now thoroughly ashamed of what I did. One assignment involved consolidation of tobacco and fag making businesses through Europe. In England there was a lot of hand wringing and bluster. In France the site management were taken hostage in the factory.
This Tory shitshow goes on until people demand change. You all have a vote in May…use it.

What about children do have any and if not do you object to paying taxes towards funding the little bleeders educaton?
