The Conservative Party

After Sunak's desperate bid for popularity arch Tory and rag, Tim Montgomerie of Conservative home has tweeted

"A massive mistake by Rishi Sunak. He has done nothing to avert misery for millions of unwaged and little for the low waged"

He has chosen his own personal ambition over you, your family and your neighbours well being, a typical tory ****.
I wish Reeves had finished her reply with your last paragraph.

Sunak is using the Johnny Cochrane defence strategy which is to sound like he's doing something important, when in fact in means fuck all.

I notice the words "fiscal discipline" are back in the political lexicon. Basically it means austerity, cuts and more cuts, tax breaks and tax cuts. The Tories are still living under the illusion that Laffer has credibility. Johnsons dreams of grandiose schemes may be hit and as inflation is now 6.2%, Sunak is hamstrung. He will want to cut taxes as that is what Tories wank over and he has his leadership ambitions to consider, so I can see this statement being a a mish mash of stupidity that will of course hot those who are worse off the most.

I am fucking sick to the back teeth of this pile of incompetent cunts running our country, we deserve better.
Utter nonsense!! This is the great British government you are talking about and describing them as a pile of incompetent cunts is insulting to Britain. You should be ashamed.
There you go. I've saved the flag-shaggers some time.

What’s the point in giving me 1p off in income tax in 2024 when everything has already risen massively. Expect a collapse in the entertainment industry and hospitality which is only just getting back on its feet, who the fuck can afford to go out anymore, £5 a pint sorry pal I’d like my fire on in winter.

5p a litre off fuel until next March. If the petrol companies even bother to reduce the price you can be sure they'll nudge it back up to its original level in no time.

In December 2008 VAT was cut from 17 1/2% to 15% for a year because of the economic crisis. No petrol station I saw reduced the price of fuel but 12 months later when the 17 1/2% rate was reinstated the bastards increased their prices accordingly and got away with it.

The 1p was pure showboating, it was to save face and keep his own ambitions on track. They know Johnson is on borrowed time and the contenders for leader are making their cases.

How does that put the heating on? I really don't know how some people will survive. It will be like going back to my childhood. Gathering around the one fire in the house.

Whooppeee. Fuel has gone up something like 50p a litre over the last few months so here is 5p off. Only people it helps is the relatively well off.

Fuck the plebs.

All those cunts who lent your votes to them in so called red wall seats how do you feel now?

Watching your community disintegrate as bankrupt councils stop funding initiatives that people literally survive on.

These bastards need getting out of power and replaced by a government FOR the people. Not a Tory lite US style Democratic party.

and those who drive a vehicle - if you don't want or can't afford a car he could take 50p off duty - won't affect your day to day runnings

It will be all over the press in banner headlines tomorrow - the words "in two years time" will be in the smallest of small prints

It seems to be a hostage to fortune as well, and all but confirms there won't be an early election.

The BBC panel afterwards were scathing about the lack of actual meaningful help - 5% wage cut for public service workers given inflation.
I don't drive, but 5p on fuel duty doesn't sound as if it'll make a dent in the price of a tankful.

well to put it into perspective I put 60 litres in every 4 or 5 weeks on average - £3 saved a month ain't salvaging my financial situation

They will.

A more sophisticated version of Cambridge Analytica will target social media feeds scaring voters into voting for them over a nonce protector.
Seen that they pushed through covid contracts for masks at over £5 a unit from a new company even though there were 5 or 6 established companies offering them for under £3 a unit. I presume this was because it was one of patels mates and another dodgy deal.

Now the average gas and electricity bill is going up over £200 a month, petrol is at a crippling high, food prices are up and all this money the Tories stole could have made an impact. I'm sure there will be enough regular voters put in their knees buy all this to make a stand at the polls

I hope so anyway
